3rd Gear: Hyundai’s Latest Effort To Fix Theft-Prone Cars
Hyundai is hosting a mobile service center in Washington, D.C. to address the low installation rate of the anti-theft software update for their vehicles. The event will take place at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
The service center will cover two parking lots and technicians will be on-site to complete the software upgrade quickly.
4th Gear: Toyota’s Woes In China Take Their Toll
Toyota has dismissed 1,000 contract workers in China citing poor sales. Toyota’s slower transition to electric vehicles has resulted in declining sales in China.
The joint venture with Guangzhou Automobile Group, called Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., will also provide economic compensation as required by law.
