Kareena Kapoor Khan who’s been in the industry for more than 23 years has done many movies. However, two characters continue to remain iconic in her body of work – ‘Geet’ from ‘Jab We Met‘ and ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham‘. Imtiaz Ali‘s ‘Jab We Met’ remains iconic in many ways and the audience will perhaps never get over the movie. This holds true because recently Kareena recreated a scene from the film and became Geet again for an advertisement.
As soon as this commercial dropped, netizens reacted in large numbers. Kareena was seen wearing a bright orange kurta and a ponytail and one sees her going to Hotel Descent with a friend. Here’s how netizens reacted to it. “Even you can’t recreate what you did in 2007. Jab we met was pure magic,” wrote a user. Another one said, “Omggggg I thought it’s her jab we met movie scene.”

Recently, Kareena had reacted to how iconic her character and this film is. During a chat with Neha Dhupia on her chat show, Bebo said, “Jab We Met completed 16 years in the cinema. I think Geet will always be special to everyone because you have never really seen a character who is so honest ,soo loving ,a girl who wants to chase her dreams. She is evergreen for generations and all times and Geet will always be in me.”
The actress had also said in another interview that she’s known as Geet and Poo but she’s a lot more beyond that. She also wanted people to go beyond these two characters and notice her in movies like ‘Omkara’, ‘Chameli’ and others.
