After his contract with TOP Media ended, singer and actor Kim Woo Seok has found a new organization to call home. An official statement from TOP Media confirming the expiration of their exclusive agreement with Kim Woo Seok was released on March 5.
The agency stated, “First of all, we are sincerely grateful to fans who love Kim Woo Seok. We inform you that the exclusive contract with Kim Woo Seok, who has been with our agency for a long time, has expired.We discussed carefully with Kim Woo Seok over a long period of time, and following the expiration of his exclusive contract, we mutually agreed to end the contract. We are thankful for Kim Woo Seok, who continued to grow as a solo artist and actor, and we will continue to support his active performance as an artist going forward. Once again, we thank the fans who spare no support for Kim Woo Seok, and we ask for your continued love and support.”
Kim Woo Seok then went on to ink an exclusive contract with Blitzway on the same day. Hong Min Ki, the CEO of Blitzway’s entertainment business division, was quoted by Soompi, “We are happy to form a valuable relationship with Kim Woo Seok, who is an artist with unrivaled capabilities in many fields. Kim Woo Seok proved his worth not only as a singer but also as an actor, receiving attention globally. In particular, he has infinite possibilities and potential, so we expect him to show more [diverse] sides in the future. We will not spare any support [for him] as a great partner, so please show lots of support and love for Kim Woo Seok’s new start.”
After making his stage debut with the boy band UP10TION, Kim Woo Seok began his acting career with the web drama “TWENTY-TWENTY.” He then acted in a number of dramas, such as “Night Has Come,” “Finland Papa,” and “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls.”
