Mahindra Bolero Neo undergoes GNCAP crash tests: Here’s how much it scored

The Mahindra Bolero Neo, a SUV with massive popularity, especially in rural India, has undergone the Global NCAP tests. The much-anticipated results are finally in, revealing how the Bolero Neo performed in terms of occupant safety.
According to GNCAP, the Bolero NEO achieved only one star in both child and adult safety ratings. The tested model comes equipped with two airbags as standard and has secured low ratings on multiple fronts, including structure, footwell area, chest protection and more.

As per Global NCAP’s report, the Bolero NEO secured 20.26 points out of the maximum 34 for adult protection.Whereas for the child protection ratings, it got 12.71 points out of the maximum 49 – thereby getting just one star rating in both parameters.
The Bolero Neo has got a rather shocking rating as compared to other SUVs in the Mahindra stable due to lack of features such as three-point seat belts for all passengers, side airbags for passengers, seat belt reminders for rear passengers and more.
