Mahindra XUV 700 Blaze edition launched at Rs 24.24 lakh: Check changes over standard model

Mahindra & Mahindra announced the launch of the Mahindra XUV 700 Blaze edition in the Indian market. The Blaze edition is priced from Rs 24.24 lakh and will be available in limited numbers. Interested customers can book the SUV by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.
The Mahindra XUV 700 Blaze edition is based on the AX7 L variant and will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options with the diesel engine getting both MT and AT transmission options whereas the petrol engine gets only AT option.The AX7 diesel MT is priced at 24.24 lakh, the diesel AT costs 26.04 lakh and the petrol AT costs Rs 25.54 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

The Blaze Edition costs Rs 25,000 more than the equivalent AX7 L trim and will be available only with a 7-seater option. In terms of changes, the Blaze edition gets a matte red paint finish with a blacked-out finish for the roof, wing mirrors, grille, alloy wheels and the A-, B- and C-pillars. It also gets Blaze Edition badges on the tailgate and front fenders.

Moving inside, the Blaze edition gets an all-black interior with contrasting red stitching for the upholstery and red accents for the AC vents and centre console. In terms of features, the SUV gets a dual 10.25-inch screen – for the infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster, AdrenoX connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 12-speaker Sony sound system with subwoofer, electronic parking brake and more.
As mentioned previously, the Blaze edition will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options – a 185 hp, 400 nm (MT), 450 nm (AT), 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel engine and a 200 hp, 380 nm, 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine. Diesel engines will be offered in both 6-speed MT and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options and the petrol engine will be available only with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
