Man found fighting for life on Rossmore roadside after hit-and-run

A man is fighting for life after a hit-and-run in Sydney’s western suburbs overnight.

The man was found unconscious on the side of Bringelly Rd in Rossmore at 12.30am on Monday.

Emergency services arrived, and NSW paramedics treated the “seriously injured man” at the scene.

He was transported to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

Two vehicles were spotted in the area at the time of the incident, according to NSW Police.

One of the vehicles has been described as “a light-coloured sedan/SUV” and the other as “a dark-coloured dual cab utility with a tray back, distinctive lights on its running boards and a roof platform.”

The incident is being investigated by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit, and anyone who can identify the cars, or who has relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
