“Barbie” spoilers ahead! According to Margot Robbie, her friends won’t let her forget about missing the chance to kiss her co-star, Ryan Gosling, in the film. In the comedy drama directed by Greta Gerwig, Robbie’s character Barbie and Gosling’s character Ken never share a kiss, much to Robbie’s disappointment. During an interview with People, Robbie expressed her unhappiness about not getting to kiss one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. She revealed that her girlfriends teased her about it, joking that she should have taken charge during the filming. Although Robbie served as a producer on the film, she couldn’t check off the experience of kissing Gosling from her list. On the other hand, Gosling found it funny to imagine what Barbie and Ken’s idea of kissing would be like and was glad that those scenes were ultimately cut from the movie. Gerwig also revealed that several other moments, including a look-alike scene with Emma Mackey and Robbie, a cozy moment with Ken and Weird Barbie, and cameos from Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet, were also left out of the final cut. The film “Barbie,” which also stars Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, and Simu Liu, is currently playing in theaters.
