Maruti Suzuki Ertiga crosses 10 lakh sales: Decoding its sales and success

Maruti Suzuki India today announced that the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV has achieved sales of one million units (10 lakh) in the Indian market. So what really stood out for the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga? As a package, Ertiga is a value-for-money offering. Back then in it’s segment, the Toyota Innova was an expensive offering and it’s not for the masses, that’s where the Ertiga plugged this gap. The Ertiga is affordable, fuel-efficient and also offers lots of features and space. Moreover, company’s service network helped families and fleets adopt the MPV. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is offered in both petrol and CNG options. This also helped the company to fill in the gap left by the company’s withdrawal from the diesel market in April 2020.
