Maruti Suzuki India today celebrated the first anniversary of its Grand Vitara midsize SUV as it achieved a one lakh sales milestone. Offering a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is priced between Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

According to our dealer sources, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara commands a waiting period of around 2 months since booking. The Delta MT variant will take around 5 weeks for delivery from the date of booking, while the Alpha variant with mild-hybrid powertrain waiting period is just 2-3 weeks.
The AMT variants of the Grand Vitara take around 6 weeks for delivery. The strong hybrid and CNG trims command a waiting period of 8 weeks.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Petrol-only variant is in high demand
In a recent conversation with TOI Auto, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India told us that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara petrol-only variant is receiving an overwhelming response with 63 percent booking. Further, he added that the strong hybrid variant has a 22-23 percent demand in the Indian market. The CNG variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara have increased from 9% to 14% in the last few months, said Srivastava.
