The “Oppenheimer” star, Matt Damon, revealed during an interview with Willie Geist on “Sunday Today” that he believes he has a talent beyond the entertainment industry. According to Damon, his talent lies in picking the right partners. He mentioned three significant partnerships in his life – his best friend Ben Affleck, his wife Luciana Barroso, and his fellow water access activist and Water.org co-founder Gary White. Damon expressed his satisfaction with these partnerships and humorously evaded Geist’s question about which one is the most significant.
In the end, when pressed further by Geist, Damon revealed that his most significant partnership is with his wife, considering she is the mother of his children. Geist jokingly acknowledged his assistance in answering the question, to which Damon responded playfully.
While Affleck might have a more open display of emotions, it is hoped that he won’t take the second-place (or even third-place) ranking too hard. Additionally, Damon has a chance to make it up to his best friend, just as he did in 2019 when he got tattoos of his four daughters’ names on his arm. He previously had a tattoo of his wife’s name and decided to add his children’s names as well. Damon mentioned his desire to tie it all together, and perhaps a tattoo of “Ben” could be the missing piece. It’s a lighthearted suggestion, considering Damon’s sensitivity and avoiding a similar situation as shown in the embedded video.
