For India, speculations are rife over who makes it and who misses out. It is going to be tricky for the selectors and a number of selections will depend on the IPL performances as the tournament is happening now. While fans can pick most of the squad that would feature in the T20 WC in the USA and the West Indies, there could be a few surprise selections as well.
Mayank Yadav: With his pace, discipline and wicket-taking ability in the ongoing IPL, Mayank has truly made a case for himself. The 21-year-old pacer was an unknown player, but with his good performances – he has taken the world of fast bowling by storm. He would know that despite more experienced bowlers available, he could still make it to the squad.
Shivam Dube: The left-handed batting-allrounder has been in scintillating form in this season of the IPL. And form is something that cannot be ignored. Dube may not get a place in the XI, but there are chances he makes it to the squad. He is a big-hitter and can clear any ground with ease, apart from that – he can also roll his arms over.
