Actress Megan Fox has dispensed some brutal relationship advice after splitting from her ex, Machine Gun Kelly.

The 39-year-old Jennifer’s Body star was attending the 2024 Revolve Festival at Coachella when E! News asked her if she had any advice for single women.

And Fox’s answer indicated that she had no qualms about splitting with her former fiance or living the single life.

“I don’t know if I’m the best person to give advice because my advice is like just learn a skill or develop a hobby,” she retorted.

“And do not waste your energy on boys.

“All they’re going to do is drain you.

“Just move on. Invest in yourself.”

The comments came about a month after Fox confirmed the end of her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly.

Surprisingly, the latter didn’t seem bothered by Fox’s comments.

When Fox shared the interview to Instagram with the caption “Life advice from a relationship expert,” Machine Gun Kelly dropped the word “PREACH” into the comments section.

But there were a lot of other men in the comments who seemed triggered by Fox’s comments.

“Toxic feminity (sic) at its finest. Stay single kings. Lose a lot less money that way,” one man wrote.

“Pathetic,” wrote another.

Female followers, however, were more open to her advice — and loving the affronted reactions from men.

“Megan Fox is a girl’s girl,” one fan wrote.

“The gals need to start putting themselves first in 2024,” added another.

“The men in the comments 😂,” one follower wrote.

One very famous follower appeared to agree with Fox’s relationship advice.

“Not no,” Kim Kardashian wrote beneath the video.

Fox also appeared to be taking a dig at Machine Gun Kelly in another picture posted from the Revolve Festival.

In it, Fox stands against a mirror, so there appears to be two of her standing back to back.

“Twin flames,” the photo was captioned.

Fox used to refer to herself and Machine Gun Kelly as “twin flames,” or soulmates, but it seems Fox is now exploring a new relationship — with herself.

“You were your own twin flame all along 😍 that’s powerful right there, queen,” one fan wrote.

“I’m glad you finally realised the twin flame is you and you,” said another.

Despite their split, it seems Fox is not full of animosity towards her ex.

When the E! News interviewer asked what her three ideal Coachella Festival headliners would be, she cut the musician some slack.

“Well, obviously I have to say Machine Gun Kelly,” she answered, before adding Guns N’ Roses and Weezer to the list.
