Noted Aquarius Megan Thee Stallion is getting ready to celebrate her 29th birthday on February 15, and she’s doing it with extra-, extra-, extra-long hair all the way down to her knees.
Megan gave fans a sneak peek at her forthcoming birthday photoshoot, saying the drop was “loading.” (Consider us seated.) In the short video, she’s wearing retro straight-across bangs similar to those she rocks in the “Hiss” music video, paired with the aforementioned super-long hair, a straight, jet-black style that flows past her hips and thighs to hit right at the bend of her knees. Is this the longest hair we’ve ever seen on the star? It’s definitely up there, though she did wear a similar look in early 2022. But what better time to have fun with inches upon inches upon inches of hair than your birthday month?

In the video, the Hot Girl Coach is wearing minimal clothing, just a thong bikini bottom and strappy top with a goth-inspired black choker necklace. As for the rest of her glam, Megan stuck to her signature sculpted cat eye, pairing it with a dramatic contour and blood red lips. In lieu of nail art, she chose a sheer, neutral nail with an extra-pointy stiletto tip reminiscent of a cobra fang.
Megan didn’t share more about her birthday shoot, but it seems to be aligned with her current snake aesthetic, given the reptilian video playing in the background and the scales superimposed over her skin. Commenters pointed out that the song playing over the video was featured in the 2002 horror movie Queen of the Damned, starring the late Aaliyah, so that could be a clue at what’s to come too; we know she always kills it with her visuals, like the “Cobra” video that kicked off this new chapter of her career. It certainly looks like 29 is going to be a big year for the rapper, given that “Hiss” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and she just signed a new distribution deal with Warner Music. Happy early birthday, Megan! Aquarius season has never looked so good.
