Megyn Kelly blasts Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala dress

Megyn Kelly slammed Kim Kardashian for not caring about girls who look up to her given what the reality star wore to Monday’s Met Gala.

Kardashian is known for sacrificing comfort for pain for the mere art of achieving a look and this year’s Met was no different.

The SKIMS mogul and American Horror Story actress caused a stir online for wearing a Maison Margiela corset that dramatically cinched her waist.

The custom design from John Galliano was so constricting that she needed assistance from attendees to make her way up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

“That is not a healthy image to be projecting to American girls!,” Kelly said on her podcast, after telling listeners that she “cannot stand” the Kardashians.

The podcast host went on to say that Kardashian “doesn’t give a s***” and she is “riding these pictures and her image all the way to the bank.”

Kelly also accused Kardashian of lying about going under the knife.

“So … Kim Kardashian, who again denies that she’s had any work done … it’s a lie.”

Kelly went on to describe Kardashian’s tiny waist, saying, “she must have three corsets on” because “you could get your hands around it.”

She continued: “Once again she goes out a creates this image, like, ‘oh, it’s just me, I just dieted’ — I don’t believe it,” adding that it looks like the aspiring lawyer had a rib removed.

Kelly also bashed the Met Gala itself, calling it the “most out-of-touch event in New York you could ask for” and described the gala as a “parade of nudity.”

She added: “Leave it to the Kardashians to always take it next level. I cannot stand their influence on American culture … I cannot.”

Kim’s shiny metallic corset flowed into a sheer lace skirt which showed off her legs, and while many critics had loads to say about her teeny-tiny waist, others slammed the ratty-looking grey sweater placed just so.

“Am I the only one who thinks it looks like there was a dress malfunction and they added the cardigan to try and save the day?” one person asked on Instagram, which many agreed with.

Kardashian wasn’t done with corsets, again donning a black leather number over a turtleneck and distressed pants, which she captioned “Margiela Broken Doll” and shared to her 363 million followers, many of whom hated the look.

“I wish there was a dislike button,” one fan commented. “This is horrible.”
