MG Motor India recently increased the prices for the Hector and Hector Plus SUVs across the country. After a price revision, the MG Hector is now available at a starting price of Rs 15 lakh, while the MG Hector Plus price now starts from Rs 17.80 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Available in six variants- Style, Shine, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro, the MG Hector receives a price hike of up to Rs 40,000.

Powering the MG Hector is a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, churning out 143 hp power and 250 Nm torque.The engine is mated with a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox. Another engine option is a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, generating a peak power of 170 hp and a max torque of 350 Nm, and comes mated with a six-speed manual transmission.
Post this price hike, the MG Hector is now priced between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom). The MG Hector Plus is now priced between Rs 17.79 lakh to Rs 22.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
