Donald Trump’s former lawyer was spotted with a box of ‘heart-shaped chocolate’, and as per Daily Mail, Michael Cohen was headed to meet Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg before the crucial hush money hearing on Wednesday.

According to a report by The Daily Mail, Wade, who took on his former client Trump in a civil trial in November last year, was caught on camera with ‘chocolates’ on Valentine’s Day. The outlet claimed in its report that the heart-shaped chocolate box was possibly a gift for the Manhattan District Attorney.

Notably, the former president of the US is at the heart of a criminal case after Judge Juan Merchan finalized the date for the trial ahead of the 2024 election. After the court denied Trump’s attorneys’ motion to dismiss the charges against their client, Bragg went on to claim that he was “pleased,” with what happened during the hearing.

“We are pleased that the Court denied the defense’s motion to dismiss. We look forward to presenting our case in court on March 25, 2024,” Bragg remarked after the hearing on Monday.

In December, Bragg successfully found two of Trump’s companies guilty of an illegal tax fraud scheme. Now, with this new development in New York, the former president would face trial in one of the four criminal cases against him. The hearing in the case would begin in March regarding payments paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Cohen in the past pleaded guilty in multiple cases incriminating the Republican tycoon and is expected to take a public stand in the hus money case. Trump allegedly made arrangements to suppress her affair with Daniels and paid the latter $ 130,000, as part of the hush-money case, through Cohen.
