MKR runners-up Nick and Christian were shocked by an unexpected betrayal after secret footage came to light during Tuesday night’s grand final.
The hospitality housemates had made two strong friends in fellow contestants Sonia and Marcus during the show’s filming, describing them as their “best friends” from MKR.

But during the grand final it was revealed that Sonia and Marcus were actually gunning for Radha and Prabha to win the show.
Speaking to 7Life before the final, Christian said beating out Sonia and Marcus to reach the top two had been a bittersweet moment.
The pair counted the Adelaide mother-and-son team as two of their closest friends in the competition, revealing that they still spoke to them regularly.
When they were told that they had made it through to the final round, Christian was clearly emotional as he hugged Sonia.
“Sonia and Marcus – we speak to them a couple of times a week,” Christian said.
“Nick had his TV mum in Claudean and I had mine in Sonia.”
For the grand final, former contestants and family members were gathered on the balcony, watching Radha and Prabha and Nick and Christian face off against each other to be crowned MKR’s 2023 winners.
And that’s when the bombshell dropped.
“We’re barracking for Radha and Prabha,” Marcus told producers in a separate interview.
“They are just top tier.
“They’ve smashed every single one of their cooks.”
That no doubt would have come as a surprise for Nick and Christian, who presumably thought they had secure backing in Sonia and Marcus.
One can’t help but wonder: Will Nick, Christian, Sonia and Marcus still be MKR besties after the surprise revelation?
And the winner is …
Both teams gave it their all, but there could only be one winner.
Taking out the MKR Champion crown for 2023 – not to mention $100,000 in prize money – were identical twin sisters Radha and Prabha.
