Viewers can find out when the brand-new season of MKR launches on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The Adelaide-based Italian mother and son are loud, passionate and sure to entertain in and out of the kitchen.
Sonia often gets outraged by the tornado Marcus leaves behind.
Marcus, frustrated with his mother’s perfectionism, doesn’t listen to her – which often leads to disaster in kitchen.
Sonia calls him her “lovely, cheeky son” – but also admits that he can be a little “frustrating”.
“If they [the judges and the guest teams] could see what was going on, they would think they were at the circus,” Sonia says while cooking in their instant restaurant.
How will they go in the pressure-cooker environment of competing on MKR?
This year MKR co-hosts and judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge travel across the country to meet Australia’s most passionate home cooks.
These are real people, cooking real food in their own homes.
And once again, they will be joined by international superstar guest Nigella Lawson, who will judge the dishes served up at Kitchen HQ.
