Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 publisher Activision has confirmed pre-load times and dates on all platforms. Following the successful launch of the somewhat controversial campaign earlier in November, customers are now counting down to the full release later this week. This includes the entirety of the game’s multiplayer experience, as well as the Zombies mode. If you’ve pre-ordered the game and want to start playing the moment the servers go live, then check out the pre-load details below.

According to a recent social media post by Activision, pre-order customers will be able to pre-load Zombies and multiplayer on November 8. PlayStation and Xbox users will be able to start downloading the game from 6pm GMT.

While these times apply to all platforms, Battle.net customers can actually start pre-loading now.

With the game pre-loaded, customers will be able to start playing multiplayer and Zombies by 6am GMT on November 10.

This year’s Call of Duty is said to have one of the “greatest collections of Modern Warfare multiplayer maps”, featuring a selection of new and classic battlegrounds dating back to 2009.

That’s on top of additional maps for Ground War, Invasion and War, plus a huge Zombies open-world.

Activision explains more: “All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been modernised with new modes and gameplay features and will be available at launch to get everyone started, while over 12 new core 6v6 maps will fuel post-launch live seasons.

Classic maps include Afghan, Derail, Estate, Favela, Highrise, Invasion, Karachi, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass, and Wasteland.

In addition to the 16 core launch maps, Modern Warfare 3 will launch with four huge environments containing a “host of new play spaces”.

This includes three new Battle Maps that will be used for the game’s Ground War and Invasion modes, plus “one War map that will support the epic return and evolution of the popular War Mode that first debuted in Call of Duty: WWll (2017)”.
