India clinched their 8th Asia Cup title by thrashing defending champions Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. Mohammed Siraj played a stellar role, recording his career-best figures of 6-21, at the R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday, September 17. The record-breaking feat included a four-wicket haul in a single over.
Congratulatory messages for the Indian team and Siraj poured in. Microblogging platform X, formerly Twitter, was full of congratulation posts for Siraj. Food delivery platforms Swiggy and Zomato too posted some witty congratulatory messages for the bowler and the Indian cricket team.
‘Too much to follow quick delivery instructions for the match’
“sorry but India was cooking too much for us to follow this 😭🤌,” posted Zomato. The post was accompanied by an image that said ‘special cooking instructions’ on top followed by “plsss, just send this order before the match gets over,” as ‘instruction’

“extremely sorry to everyone who went to collect their order during siraj’s bowling,” said another post from Zomato.
