Celebrity yoga trainer, Anushka Parwani, who is popular for training several Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday and many more shared a yoga mudra that can help people with motion sickness while travelling. She wrote in the video caption, ” Since ancient times Yoga mudras have been practised to direct the flow of vital energy (prana) through the energy channels (nadis) in the human body.”

According to her post, one has to practice Shunya Mudra when they are feeling motion sickness while travelling. She said, “The Shunya Mudra is a hand gesture believed to have various health benefits, including alleviating motion sickness. It is believed that practicing the Shunya Mudra can help balance the elements in the body and calm the mind, thus helping to manage the symptoms of travel sickness like reducing nausea.” She concluded by saying “Next time you hit the road, avoid taking medication and instead start practicing the Shunya Mudra. ”

How to Practice Shunya Mudra?

  • Place the tip of the middle finger at the base of the thumb
  • Press down gently on the middle finger with your thumb
  • Sit Comfortably and breathe
