Chennai: It is no secret that MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are close friends, they have been together since a very long period and their bond has not changed a bit. On the eve of the IPL 2024 opener at the MA Chidambaram stadium, Raina, who is part of the broadcast team, was net side with Dhoni. Raina and Dhoni seemed to be laughing on some joke and surely it is a treat for fans. Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja was also present there. Here is the clip that is now going viral on social space.

Raina and Dhoni have shared the Indian and the CSK dressing-room together for many years and hence they have a strong bond. It was heartwarming to see Raina and Dhoni getting all their fans nostalgic again. Surely, this season Dhoni will make us cry many times.

Earlier, Dhoni dropped a bombshell on Thursday afternoon when it was understood that he has stepped down as the captain of Chennai Super Kings.

This will only be just the second time that Dhoni will not start an IPL season as skipper of CSK after Ravindra Jadeja was named the captain in IPL 2022, only for him to be replaced by the legendary wicketkeeper-batter after eight matches in the season.
