Murder charges laid after teenager stabbed to death in Western Sydney suburb of Miller

Two young men have been charged over the death of an 18-year-old who died in a Sydney stabbing incident earlier this month.

The teenager was found with serious stab wounds to his neck just after 9pm on Sunday, October 1, on Woodward Cres, Miller.

Paramedics performed CPR and he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

He died a week later.

On the night of the stabbing, another man, aged 19, went to Liverpool Hospital with stab wounds to his back.

On Tuesday, police charged two young men over their alleged role in the teen’s death.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at a unit complex in Church St, North Parramatta and charged with murder and wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.

A 20-year-old man was arrested during a vehicle stop in Campbelltown and was subsequently charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was also refused bail and will appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday.
