mXmoto launches mX9 electric motorcycle at Rs 1.46 lakh: Gets up to 148 km range

Electric vehicle startup mXmoto, a sister brand of Komaki , has launched its maiden model, the mX9 electric motorcycle at a starting price of Rs 1.46 lakh, ex-showroom. The company claims a range of up to 140 km on a single charge. It is available in two colour options – a dualtone grey & black finish and black.
The mX9 gets a 3.2 kWh LIPO4 battery pack, which can be juiced fully in under four hours, as per the company’s claim. Further, mXmoto says that it can deliver a range of 120-140 km on a fully-charged battery. The EV sports a 4,000 watt hub motor that belts out 148 Nm of peak torque.
The mx9 EV rides on 17-inch wheels and gets features such as a 60 AMP controller, regenerative braking, energy-saving features, which the company says enhances the output by 16 percent.

Other features include a TFT screen with navigation, a sound system with app integration, cruise control, reverse assist, anti-skid/hill assist, and parking assist.
The suspension duties will be carried out by adjustable rear suspension that provides a central shock absorber, akin to racing motorcycles. This design is said to maintain the vehicle’s gravity at the center during turns, enhancing balance and handling.
The mX9 features circular LED headlights with LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, and disc brakes on both ends.
