‘Name the food?’: Kevin Pietersen dips his fingers into ‘Delhi delicacy’ amid IPL 2024 | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen recently shared a picture on social media platform X of himself enjoying a popular North Indian comfort food.
In the caption, he wrote, “Name the food? A favourite Delhi delicacy! YUM YUM! 😋”
He was eating the much loved ‘Chole Bhature‘, which even Delhi boy Virat Kohli called his favourite comfort food of his earlier days.
Pietersen is currently in India for his commentary duties with IPL’s digital broadcaster Jio Cinema.

During his stay, Pietersen has been exploring various cities and sharing his experiences on social media. Last week, he attended an IPL 2024 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals in Uttar Pradesh.
Upon arriving at the city’s airport, Pietersen was impressed by the newly constructed terminal. He expressed his admiration for the development on X, stating, “The Street of Flowers here at the brand new airport terminal in Lucknow. World class! Wow, what an incredible job done by all for this most beautiful state. I’m sure Minister Yogi Adityanath must be super proud! India is BOOMING!”

Earlier, Pietersen had also praised the Terminal-2 (T2) of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, calling it “absolutely world class.”

He shared a video of the new terminal on his X account, highlighting its impressive aesthetics and infrastructure. In the post, he wrote, “Just travelled through the brand new airport in Bangalore. It’s WORLD CLASS. Can be put up against any airport around the world. WOW!!!!!”
