Nat, who is known for posting cooking videos on her Instagram, told her followers that she was “back in the kitchen” where she makes recipes “off the internet, usually by chefs or cooks”.

“I see what (the recipes are) really like in a home kitchen,” she explained.

On Tuesday night’s menu was beef curry, a change from Nat’s go-to source of protein, chicken.

“I know, I know it’s not chicken, which is what I normally make.

“And I’ve kind of made half of it, but then I thought I should share it.

“So, here it is.”

The Sunrise co-host told followers that the recipe is from creator Wholesome by Sarah and that for the beef, you use blade roast, the cheapest cut.

“It’s one of the really cheap cuts of meat like our grandmas used to make blade chucks with all those cheap cuts.

“All the chefs like, you know, Curtis Stone come in (to Sunrise) and say, use the cheap cuts of meat and they last forever.”

Hours later, Nat returned with an update, showing the curry simmering in a large pot.

“So this is it after three hours at 160 degrees… then add veggies and cook for another hour,” she wrote.

She went on to share the original video recipe from Wholesome by Sarah writing, “Ok this is how the pro did it”.

“Note: It’s called Lemongrass Beef Curry… but I left out the lemongrass and added lime juice because who has lemongrass?

“Anyhoo… absolutely DELICIOUS!! (Leave out chilli if you don’t like it too hot).”
