Our furry friends bring us joy, comfort, companionship, and lots of laughs. Why not celebrate them for all the hilarious situations they find themselves in? That’s the aim of the annual Comedy Pet Photography Awards. This year, 25 finalists are competing for the title of 2023’s Comedy Pet Winner. The awards were created by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam to recognize the positive and essential role that pets play in our lives while promoting animal welfare. The finalists were announced on Friday and will be judged to determine the overall winner, which will be announced on Aug. 11. There is also a people’s choice category where the public can vote.
