Shah Rukh Khan teamed up with Nayanthara to deliver one of the biggest hits of 2023 – Jawan. Their fresh pairing was hailed by fans in this Atlee directorial.
In a recent interview, Nayanthara opened up sharing the frame witht the superstar and marking her Bollywood debut with ‘Jawan’. She told Hello magazine, “Who is not his fan? We have all grown up watching his films and we all love them.Apart from being the huge star that he is, I really admire the fact that he respects women a lot… I was pretty sure that Jawan would create a huge impact. After working so many years in the industry you know when a film is going to work and vice versa.”
Deepika Padukone played an extended cameo in the movie, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Girija Oak and Omkar Das Manikpuri. ‘Jawan’ also featured Sanjay Dutt in a special cameo. At the end of its theatrical run, ‘Jawan’ managed to earn a total worldwide collection of Rs 1160 crore.
Post ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for ‘Tiger versus Pathaan’, co-starring Salman Khan. He is also rumoured to join forces with his daughter Suhana Khan for the movie, but there is no confirmation about the same.
