A product created by a Melbourne-based wedding planner is winning praise from Aussies around the country, who say the item is a “must-have” for all weddings.
Launched in October 2022, Off The Hook was created from the desire to create a new and fun way to capture memories at weddings and big events.
As a full-time wedding planner, co-founder Elizabeth White and her husband Stefaan noticed a gap in the market for a more interactive way for guests to leave a heartfelt message for those celebrating.

Their resulting product — an audio guest book, which captures voice messages from your loved ones for you to keep and cherish forever — has proven popular all over the country.
“We really wanted to fill a large gap in the market,” Elizabeth told Best Picks.
“As a wedding planner, I found so many couples desperate for a modern way to make their day exciting and unforgettable and, from that, Off The Hook was born.”
For $400, couples get a retro rotary phone that they can display at their wedding reception.
Guests can pick up the handset and leave the couple a voice message, providing a modern twist on the old-school hard-copy guest book that’s often forgotten and left in the corner.
From thoughtful to hilarious to heartfelt, messages from the couple’s nearest and dearest are captured, saved and then provided as an online voice message gallery following the wedding.
You can even opt to get the messages on a custom keepsake like a vinyl record as well.
“We are focused on creating truly unforgettable celebrations, ensuring that our couples have beautiful voice messages to keep and listen back on for years and years to come,” Elizabeth said.
“Ditching the old-school written guest book, we believe every couple should have an affordable, interactive element as part of their day to re-live all of the beautiful memories and share with their loved ones.”
