Two new characters, Harper and Dana, are set to join the cast of Home and Away in Summer Bay. It has been revealed that each character has a connection to a beloved character on the show. Jessica Redmayne and Ally Harris have been cast for the roles of Harper and Dana, respectively. Both actresses recently moved to Sydney to become part of the Home and Away family. Jessica, who plays Harper, spoke highly of the welcoming cast and expressed her excitement to be working with them. Lynne McGranger, who Jessica looked up to while growing up, encouraged her to be herself on her first day on set. Ally, who plays Dana, shared that she knew some of the cast members from her auditions and found everyone to be extremely welcoming. The cast members took to Instagram to welcome Jessica and Ally to the show. Harper is described as a protective older sister, while Dana is portrayed as a more romantic and idealistic character. Both actresses relocated to Sydney and found it helpful to have each other during the transition. Harper and Dana’s arrival in Summer Bay can be watched on Channel 7 and 7plus on August 10th at 7pm AEST.
