A video went viral on social media as two girls performed a dangerous stunt for the sake of Instagram reels. The Noida Police has taken swift action, identifying the individuals involved and issuing a hefty challan for their reckless behavior.
The video shows a man riding a scooter without wearing a helmet. Seated besides him were two girls, facing each other, also without helmets.The two were recorded applying colours on each other amid moving vehicles and performing celebratory gestures. The video immediately went viral on social media and the complete disregard for traffic safety rules had sparked outrage online, with many users calling for action against violators.

The Noida Traffic Police, upon noticing the viral video, promptly launched an investigation. They were able to trace the vehicle and its owner, following which a challan was issued for multiple offenses, including riding without helmets, performing dangerous stunts, and more.
The challan, including multiple offenses, amounts to Rs 33,000. For a two-wheeler, that’s a massive fine but goes in line with the traffic violations commited. In the recent past, there has been a surge in such offenses where ignorant motor vehicle owners have compromised their safety along with fellow motorists in order to create ‘content’ for their social media handles. Thankfully, it doesn’t go unnoticed and the police department takes stringent measures to curb such practices.
