NSW construction company Viridi Group now under administration

Viridi Group, a major NSW construction company, is now under administration.

Based in southwest Sydney, the group has worked on construction projects including Taronga Zoo’s wildlife retreat, Macquarie Univeristy, cabins on Hayman Island, and works at various schools including Cranbrook School.

Viridi describes itself as “(leading) the way in revolutionising construction through innovation, advanced manufacturing, and modern methods” on its website.

It is “guided by a passion for sustainability and a commitment to excellence”, it said.

The company had administrators appointed on April 5.

Christopher Damien Darin and Joanne Monica Keating from Worrells have been appointed administrators.

The first meeting of the company’s creditors will be held on April 17.

The company has not shared anything about the administration news on its social media, and last posted on its Facebook about working on emergency flood housing in Lismore.

Viridi Group has been contacted for comment.
