Parineeti Chopra slams pregnancy rumours in a hilarious way after her look at the ‘Chamkila’ trailer launch sparks speculations – PIC inside | Hindi Movie News

Parineeti Chopra was spotted at the airport in the morning wearing a puffer jacket and that sparked speculations that she’s pregnant. The actress tied the knot with Raghav Chadha in September 2023. Fans thought, why would she wear a puffer jacket amidst the Mumbai heat! Meanwhile, she arrived at the trailer launch of her film ‘Chamkila‘ along with Diljit Dosanjh and director Imtiaz Ali in a black kaftaan dress.
Parineeti’s dress and the way she was touching her tummy further fueled these speculations!

However, the actress has now denied these rumours in the most hilarious way! Parineeti dropped a story in which she wrote, “Kaftan dress = pregnancy, oversized shirt = pregnancy, Comfy indian kurta = pregnancy” with a laughter emoji!

Meanwhile, the cast and crew launched the trailer of ‘Chamkila’ today which is based on the life of Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot Chamkila. Both Diljit and Parineeti have lent their voices to some of the original Chamkila songs in Punjabi. AR Rahman has given the music for it.
Parineeti had also put on 15 kilos of weight in order to get into the character of Amarjot. Chamkila was called the Elvis Presley of Punjab. Unfortunately, Chamkila’s life came to an end when he and his wife Amarjot were gunned down in Mehsampur, Punjab, as they were preparing to perform. The assailants, who arrived on bikes, swiftly fled the scene, and the case reportedly remains unresolved to this day.
The film is set to release on April 12.
