A Perth mother has given birth alone on the bathroom floor after her twins decided they were ready to arrive seven weeks early.
It all unfolded in such a rush for mum Amy Turner that she had to be talked through it by St John WA officers over the phone until an ambulance arrived.

Turner had been at home in Morley with her other three children when she started to get contractions.
This situation escalated quickly and 45 minutes later she made a triple-0 call because her boys, Leon and Jacob, were coming.
“I’m in labour,” she said in the emergency call, obtained by 7NEWS.
She delivered the first child all on her own in a “surreal” moment in the family bathroom.
The calm voice on the other end of the line was operator Keta Lemmon.
“She was very calm for a mum who told me she has three young children under six at home by herself,” Lemmon said.
“She was one of the most calm and compliant callers giving birth I have ever spoken to.”
Within 10 minutes paramedics were on the scene in time to help deliver the second baby.
“She said I can feel the second one coming and … there was very much a baby coming so (we) just helped her deliver that one,” paramedic Cassandra Minnie said.
Making it home
The trio were rushed to King Edward Memorial Hospital where they spent more than a month in intensive care.
Last week, having grown in strength, Leon and Jacob were able to go home.
Turner described the St John team as “amazing”.
“I don’t know if I could’ve done it without them,” she said.
