Peters Ice Cream Connoisseur Plant Based Hazelnut Chocolate urgently recalled from Coles and Woolworths supermarkets nationally

A popular ice cream has been urgently recalled from Woolworths, Coles and IGA supermarkets nationally.

Peters Ice Cream is conducting a recall of 1L tubs of Connoisseur Plant Based Hazelnut Chocolate.

The product has been available for sale across Australia in Woolworths, Coles, IGA, independent grocery and convenience stores and other food retailers.

Tubs with a best before date of October 3, 2025, and the batch number 231004A001 are included in the recall.

Food Standards Australia advises that the recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk) and could cause serious health issues with some customers.

“Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have an adverse reaction if the product is consumed,” it says.

“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.

“Consumers should return the empty tub to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
