PhonePe has added a new “Credit’ section on its platform. The new section is aimed at offering a complete solution for all the credit related needs on the app. The Credit section is now rolling out and it is available for users to give it a try.

PhonePe’s Credit section includes several features from checking out the credit bureau score at no additional cost to managing their credit/Rupay cards and repay loans and credit card bills.Moreover, the section also provides users with summarised credit insights such as credit utilisation, credit age, on-time payment details and more.
How to access the Credit section in PhonePe app
To access the Credit section in the PhonePe app, start with updating it with the latest version available. Head to respective app stores — Google Play on Android and App Store on iOS — and install the latest version available.
Once updated, open the app and stay on the homescreen. Look for a new “Credit” button on the bottom app bar. Tap on it to open the Credit section.
How to get started with it
On the Credit page, you’ll see three four sections. The top section shows the Credit score option and tapping on the “Check Now” button tell you your current credit score.
Next up is the “Manage Credits” section which offers the option to link and manage credit and Rupay cards.
The other two options are Credit profiles and Manage dues. The Credit profile lets you check the credit score details along with Credit aggregator and dues option allows users to check their prending loan and credit card payments and pay them.
In addition to this, PhonePe has also confirmed that they will extend its credit offerings by introducing consumer loans within the app in coming months.
