By now you should know that sorcery is at work when it comes to any of Chloe Bailey‘s hairstyles. Her locs have been twisted, weaved, and tied into styles we would have never predicted could be done with locs. For her latest hairstyle, she takes some inspiration from rapper Gunna for her curly twisted locs.
Bailey shared her new look on Instagram on August 2. In the video, Bailey is seated in an all-black outfit and wearing bright red lipstick as she covers Gunna’s song “Fukumean.” Her locs were separated into several large sections that were then twisted about three-quarters of the way down the hair. Around her collarbone area, the twisted locs transitioned into loose waves that cascaded towards her waist. Her hair resembles Gunna’s own twisted locs in the music video for “Fukumean.”
Her bright red lips definitely caught our eyes, but she hasn’t shared any details on her lipstick choice. Perhaps it was Fenty Beauty’s Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in MVP, or maybe she swiped Mac’s Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo, an all-time best seller? Alternatively, she could have mixed a few lipstick and liner shades together to create the vivid red hue.
