Possible Launch of Toyota Rumion MPV in India: Anticipated Design and Other Key Details

As a part of the global partnership between Toyota and Suzuki, a range of new products and technologies are currently being shared and developed in India.

It is rumoured that Toyota Kirloskar Motor will soon launch the Toyota Rumion MPV in India this festive season. The Rumion is essentially a re-badged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV and was recently launched in the South African market. The Rumion will be the fifth product from Toyota and Suzuki partnership after Invicto, Glanza, Hyryder and Urban Cruiser (now discontinued).

Talking about the Rumion, the MPV gets a different front grille with a new bumper. The front grille looks similar to the one in Innova Crysta and the lower bumper is re-designed with new fog lamp housing and chrome strip around the radiator grille. On the side, the MPV remains unchanged but it gets differently designed dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, there are no changes made to the car except the replacement of the logo. The MPV gets the same bumper design.
