As part of the agreement, Pravaig and Saudi India Venture Studio will co-develop, supply, and service special purpose vehicles, including EVs, AI-driven solutions, advanced batteries, and energy storage solutions.
Last year, Pravaig launched its first car, the Defy electric SUV, in India with a starting price of Rs 39.5 lakh, ex-showroom. The Defy is equipped with a 90.9 kWh battery and can travel up to 500 kilometres on a single charge. It has a top speed of 210 kmph and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.
Based on the same platform, Pravaig also introduced the Interceptor, a rugged off-road SUV designed for the armed forces.
The overseas manufacturing facility will produce left-hand-drive EVs, unlike the Indian-spec models introduced in India last year.
