NEW DELHI: Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus struck second-half goals as West Ham registered a 2-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League‘s early game on Saturday.
With the win the Hammers briefly moved into the top six of the table.
Recovering from a bruising 5-1 defeat to Liverpool in the League Cup in midweek, West Ham move up to on 30 points as a dismal United drop to eighth on 28 points.
Under-fire boss Erik Ten Hag’s side was blown away by late strikes at the London Stadium, condemning them to an eighth Premier League loss already this season.
United, languishing in eighth place, have managed just one win in seven games in all competitions.
They have lost three of their last four matches and failed to score in any of them for the first time since 1992.
