Now not many are aware that Prithviraj was on the verge of quitting the film because his earlier film had gotten delayed because of covid and he was in the look of the film. In an interview with Galatta Plus the actor opened up about his ordeal. He mentioned that Salaar was pitched to him when KGF 2 was still in its shooting phase and after listening to the narration, he agreed to be part of it.
But then lockdown happened and he got stuck in Jordan where he was shooting for his film Aadujeevitham with 58 other film crew members and then all his dates had to be reworked, this is when he thought he wont be able to do Salaar. He even had a meeting with Prashanth Neel and gave him the bad news that he would be stepping down from the film, as he had a beard and long hair; look from his ongoing film and he couldn’t change everything to be part of Salaar. But then Prashanth came back to him to tell him that they will reschedule the dates to accommodate his schedule. Prithviraj added that he is grateful to Prashanth and to Prabhas for having moved things around so much for him to be able to do Salaar.
