Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is heavily tipped to appear on PS Plus in April 2024. The next wave of PS Plus Essentials will be revealed by Sony on March 27, before joining the service in full on April 2. The free PS4 and PS5 games will replace the current line-up, which is headlined by EA-published racer F1 23 and martial-arts action game Sifu. With such a strong line-up in March, PlayStation Plus subscribers are hopeful of another banner month in April, which is why Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is leading the predictions thread on Reddit.

The long-running predictions thread sees Reddit users attempt to guess the games coming to PS Plus in the month ahead.

The latest thread is dominated by Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, which fans are convinced will be added in April.

With Crisis Core serving as a prequel to the original Final Fantasy 7, it would provide additional context for FF7 Remake and the recently released Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. This in turn could help to boost interest in the games and drive more sales.

Other games with multiple predictions include Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Hades and Cult of the Lamb.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor seems unlikely given it launched less than a year ago, but Hades and Cult of the Lamb could definitely make an appearance.

Needless to say, Square Enix flop Forspoken continues to pop up multiple times throughout the thread, and will continue to do so until it eventually joins PlayStation Plus. It’s inevitable.

The thread also contains picks for Gotham Knights, Sonic Frontiers, Metro Exodus, EA Sports FC 24, The Pathless, Dead Island 2, Deliver Us Mars, Dredge, Dead Space Remake, Hitman World of Assassination, LEGO Skywalker Saga and Madden NFL 24.

Then there are the first-party picks, such as Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarok and Demon’s Souls.

Less prediction and more wishful thinking, one person really wants The Last of Us Remastered to join PS Plus.

We certainly wouldn’t rule it out, which is why we’ll be keeping a close eye on the latest leaks and announcements in the coming days.
