PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the free PS4 and PS5 Essentials for December 2023. The final wave of Essentials for 2023 will be officially unveiled at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of November 29. The games will be available to download and play less than a week later on the morning of December 5, which means you don’t have long to pick up the November PlayStation Plus releases for 2023.

If it’s anything like previous months, there’s a good chance the games will leak ahead of schedule. Needless to say, Daily Express will keep this post updated with any leaks, as well as the official reveal on November 29.

Without any leaks to go by, PS Plus subscribers have been attempting to predict the line-up on Reddit.

Multiple fans Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core will join PS Plus ahead of the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth next February.

Other games with multiple votes include action game Rollerdrome, as well as EA racing game Need for Speed Unbound.

Elsewhere, some fans believe LEGO Star Wars will make an appearance, alongside titles such as Sifu, GTA Trilogy, Captain Tsubasa, Cuphead, Borderlands 3, BioShock Collection, and Nier Automata.

Fans will be hoping the game selection is an improvement on the disappointing November 2023 line-up.

Available until the morning of December 5, the current batch of PS4 and PS5 games include Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, Aliens Fireteam and Dragon Ball: The Breakers.

Inspired by “iconic mafia dramas”, the open-world action game takes place in 1940s New York.

“War hero Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob in hopes of paying his father’s debts,” reads the official description.

“Alongside his buddy Joe, Vito works to prove himself, climbing the family ladder with crimes of larger reward, status and consequence.”
