“These quietly went missing from the supermarket shelf,” one lolly fan wrote on social media.

Supermarket giants, Woolworths and Coles, appear to stock Fruit Tingles and Fruit Pastilles.

But the old-school Life Savers range is missing.

Darrell Lea senior marketing manager Jodi Teasdale confirmed to 7NEWS.com.au the sweets are not currently in production.

“The Life Savers Five Flavour Hard Candy Roll is an absolute classic,” she said.

“We are not producing them at the moment, but we do have plans to bring this nostalgic classic back one day.

“For those who want to take a walk down memory lane, the original Fruit Tingle and Musk roll that many Aussies know and love are available in grocery and convenience stores nationwide.”

Lolly lovers were saddened by the news, with many sharing their fond memories of the sweets on social media.

“Wait, they don’t make Life Savers anymore?” one woman asked.

“Oh, this is sad! I don’t want them often but I will now I know I can’t have them,” another said.

“These were the best, haven’t seen them around in years,” a third added.

One woman added a picture of the Strawberry Sundae Life Savers rolls and revealed they, too, had “gone missing”.

“I miss them,” she said.

Darrell Lea now owns the Life Savers brand after purchasing it from Nestle in 2018.
