Rahul Gandhi rides KTM 390 Adventure to Pangong Lake in Ladakh

Indian MP and former President of Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi is a well-known motorcycle enthusiast. Currently on a trip to Ladakh, the Indian politician has now hopped onto the saddle of a KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle, heading to the Pangong Tso Lake.

In a social media post, Gandhi revealed that his father (late Rajiv Gandhi) used to say that Pangong Lake is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Rahul Gandhi can be seen posing with the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle, all geared up, and then riding it as a part of a group that includes a host of other KTM 390 Adventure motorcycles as well as a Royal Enfield Scram 411.
The KTM 390 Adventure that Rahul Gandhi is riding is the alloy wheel version, but seems to be shod on knobby off-road tyres. The motorcycle is also equipped with knuckle guards. That said, KTM offers the 390 Adventure with a 373.2 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that belts out 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Apart from the spoke wheels, the top-end model also gets fully-adjustable suspension on both ends.
