In a Jist Townhall interview, Gulshan Devaiah mentioned observing the development of Ranveer and Deepika’s relationship during the filming of Ram Leela. Initially, he didn’t notice a spark between them, but after about 25 days into the Mumbai schedule and later in Udaipur, he was surprised by the evident connection. While he thought Ranveer was genuinely interested, he personally doubted if Deepika reciprocated. However, he acknowledged that they are now a couple.
One month after revealing their wedding plans, the couple, accompanied by family and friends, traveled to Italy to tie the knot. They celebrated their nuptials in traditional Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies at Lake Como. Recently, Ranveer shared a picture of his wife kissing him on the occasion of their fifth wedding anniversary.
