After leaving his village to pursue acting, Ravi gained prominence through his participation in the inaugural season of the reality show Bigg Boss in 2006. This marked the beginning of significant opportunities, including roles in films by renowned directors such as Mani Ratnam, Shyam Benegal, and Anurag Kashyap, leading to a successful career in both Hindi and Telugu cinema.
Recently, Ravi appeared in two Hindi projects – ‘Laapataa Ladies‘ and ‘Maamla Legal Hai.’ His upcoming Bhojpuri film, ‘Mahadev ka Gorakhpur,’ holds significant importance for him as he believes it will rejuvenate the declining Bhojpuri film industry.
