New Delhi: Leading smartphone manufacturing company Realme has launched its latest P1 series smartphones in India on Monday, the Realme P1 5G and Realme P1 Pro 5G. These mid-range 5G phones pack impressive features like 120Hz AMOLED displays, 50MP cameras, and fast charging at competitive prices.

Realme P1 5G, Realme P1 Pro Launch in India
The Realme P1 5G and P1 Pro 5G were unveiled at a virtual launch event in India on April 15, 2024. Realme is touting the P1 series as “crafted exclusively for India” with a focus on powerful performance and premium design.
Both phones sport a glossy “Phoenix Design” with a sparkling finish in bold colours. The Realme P1 5G comes in Peacock Green and Phoenix Red, while the P1 Pro 5G is offered in Parrot Blue and Phoenix Red options.
Realme P1 5G Series: Price in India
- The Realme P1 5G starts at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in India. The higher 8GB + 256GB configuration is priced at Rs 18,999.
- Meanwhile, the Realme P1 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
- As part of the launch offers, the Realme P1 5G will be available at an effective price of Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 for the two variants with bank discounts. The P1 Pro 5G can be grabbed for Rs 19,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively.
- The first sale for the Realme P1 5G is scheduled for April 22 at 12pm on Realme’s website and Flipkart. An early access sale will be held on April 15 itself, from 6pm to 8pm.
- The Realme P1 Pro 5G will go on sale starting April 30. A special Red Limited edition will be sold on April 22 from 6pm to 8pm.
Realme P1 5G, Realme P1 Pro 5G Specs
- Both the Realme P1 5G and P1 Pro 5G feature 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screens boast a peak brightness of 2000 nits, support for Realme’s Rainwater Touch (allowing usage with wet hands), and TUV Rheinland certification.
- In terms of performance, the Realme P1 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, while the P1 Pro 5G opts for a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Both are paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable further.
- For photography, the phones get a 50MP primary rear camera using a Sony LYT600 sensor. The P1 5G has a 2MP B&W secondary lens, while the Pro upgrades to an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. A 16MP front camera handles selfies on both.
- The Realme P1 series packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
- Other notable features include Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, dual 5G, VC cooling systems, and IP54/IP65 dust and water resistance.
