Recall of Hanabi Marinated Pork Bulgogi from Coles and Woolworths stores across Australia (NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, and WA) due to allergen concerns

A pork product sold in Coles and Woolworths stores across Australia has been recalled over a potential allergen risk.

Oriental Merchant Pty Ltd has announced that it is recalling its Hanabi Marinated Pork Bulgogi 260g.

The product has been available for purchase at Coles supermarkets in NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA and WA and at Woolworths in NSW, QLD and VIC.

The recalled product has best before dates of 23/05/24 and 06/06/24.

According to Food Safety Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) the pork product may contain wheat or gluten.

“Any consumers who have a wheat/gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the food safety agency said.

Anyone who has a wheat or gluten intolerance has been urged not to consume the product.

They should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
