Repair Delays Plague Stellantis Lifetime Warranty Holders

If you’re a customer of Stellantis’ Lifetime Maximum Care warranty and have experienced slow service since spring, you’re not alone. Many owners have reported lengthy delays in getting their Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram repaired under the lifetime coverage. Despite there being no staffing or parts shortages, the main cause of delay is claim approval. Owners are often left in the dark, wondering when their repairs will begin. Previously, owners could call in claims for approval, but as of April 1, all approvals had to be done through email. Stellantis’ Maximum Care team would go silent for weeks, leaving owners frustrated and without answers. Some owners had to wait over two weeks for repair approval, causing significant inconvenience. The lack of communication from Stellantis during the process only added to the frustration. Although Stellantis claims that the training process for the new approval system has been completed and delays should be minimized, they couldn’t explain why customers were left in the dark for extended periods.
